It is very difficult to get something for nothing.
Very few of us have dedicated, acoustically designed spaces in which to enjoy our music making equipment. Most of us have to combine listening to music in spaces designed for living with domestic necessities. These often result in problems with accentuations of specific frequency ranges resulting in enhanced bass, mid bass, treble and high treble, all of which reduce the enjoyment of music.
To overcome these problems with cost effective, domestically friendly solutions, we have trialled a considerable number of products over the years, both in the UK and the US. Many had an effect, most tended to accentuate a given frequency range and a very few manage to resolve dissonant resonance problems whilst at the same time maintaining a natural timbre and neutral tone in a three dimensional soundfield. We found a few products however that we are confident will add to your enjoyment of recorded music.
Shun Mook
Closely associated to Ebony Wood (used to form sound boards and the instrument’s body in stringed acoustic instruments and wood wind instruments) Shun Mook products have a profound effect on eliminating the adverse vibrations on equipment. In addition they have a profound and positive effect on controlling and enhancing the sound field.

Shakti
Shakti’s products offer dual benefits. The Shatki stone and associated cable based products are designed to eliminate EMF (Electromagnetic Interference). Elimination of EMF increases liquidity of sound . Shakti Hallographs are particularly effective in eliminating flutter echoes from room corners. The resonant wands also reduce unwanted frequencies in the all important mid band and assist in the formation of life size images where appropriate.
Cerepuc and Cerebase
The exquisitely engineered puck and base are constructed from solid aluminum and steel in which high tolerance ceramic balls are incorporated to dissipate energy in the form of heat. These devices are particularly effective in improving information retrieval and base pitch and tone definition. The Cerebase are particularly effective as replacements to spikes on equipment stands.
Stillpoints
We have become incredibly impressed with these ceramic based products and stands. Stillpoints offer a number of interactive products which can achieve an enormous reduction in noise.
